A fairly mundane detail

After an independent audit, it was discovered that Anne Arundel County needs a new calculator. The county’s financial records are slightly inaccurate, often misstated by millions of dollars ($8.8 million in one instance). Someone must have missed a decimal point or something.
Another minor slip-up? The county had to repay a $5 million federal grant (plus a $400,000 penalty) because they failed to spend the money on time. I think I could help with that.
The county Auditor also admitted to a minor flaw in their accounting system. The employees who keep the financial records have little supervision, making it relatively easy to steal money or misappropriate funds, since no one is checking their work.
After all this, the County received an AA credit rating from the Fitch agency — the second highest possible rating and a “good indicator of the county’s financial strength”. Are any of these places hiring?
