It’s kind of dumb to claim drivers from one state are somehow different than drivers from another state. Human beings are pretty predictable in general - their behavior in specific domains (in this case driving) tends to be pretty consistant regardless of geography.

No matter where you are, there will always be someone claiming that OTHER people OVER THERE are responsible for some less than acceptable behavior.

Besides, Jim Graham is a fussy old queen that thinks DC is the center of the universe.

I’m always amused that the only time I notice those damn Choose Civility in Howard County bumpersticks is when I’ve been cut off and almost sideswapped by somebody invariably in either a SUV or mini-van.

I would also have to agree with the MD drivers being crazy but I don’t see it much in Baltimore. I think what the honorable bow-tie may be refering to is the drivers in the People’s Republic of Mongomery County, which we all know is as seperated from the rest of the state as legally possible. But seriousley, Baltimore drivers are crazy but they’re predictable. Grand Tourismo races through Gwynns Falls Pkwy and around Druid Hill are common occurances but we know the circut and the racers.
Monkey County is just unpredictable and unforgiving. So let’s point the finger over there. I do. Splitters!

I kinda feel the same way about this paper. Hey, why do members of your organization dress in orange and try to foist this publication on people on their way to work every morning? It’s very annoying.

I think you have a duty to reveal your ties to the Hare Krishna organization, your tactics are identical and it is obvious there is a connection. I mean it’s kinda obvious when you dress in Krishna orange anyway.

A simple records search will confirm that this paper is a front for Krishna Consciousness. Please stop trying to deceive the public. And Baltimoreans, be on the lookout for their cultish behavior!

Clearly you are not referring to Philadelphia drivers.

But I grew up in PA as well, and agree there is a great difference in driving styles throughout most of the state. However, usually (at least in my native northeast PA) you are driving on a back road, not a major highway or busy city, so I’m not sure the two are comparable.

I happen to agree with him, Maryland drivers are nuts. I grew up and learned how to drive in Pennsylvania where most people are respectful of others on the roads and generally drive defensively.

In Maryland there is no respect for others on the road it is all about “me” and there are many aggressive drivers.
