Last week, I pointed your attention to the new retro-style, sentimental, goofy “Orioles Magic” video.

Now, we know the trouble it’s caused. G4’s “Attack of the Show” is declaring war on our fair city (fast-forward to the 5 minute mark).

It’s not just the video that’s given them cause to fight. Some of our other alleged sins?

– Billy Ripken’s classic baseball card.

– Our sad socio-economic conditions. If not for that, where would “The Wire” be?

– Officer Rivieri harassing a kid at the Inner Harbor over his skateboard.

– Laying claim to being the place where the Civil War started. What is this Fort Sumter you speak of?

They’ve even bought the domain waronbaltimore.com, though they haven’t done anything with it yet.

Co-host Olivia Munn’s general message: “Suck it, Baltimore.”

b’s Michael Smith suggests we declare war right back. I agree. We’re coming for you, you middling cable network with your attractive hosts and your snarky attitude. Watch your back! As one of the G4 Web commenters noted, “War with Baltimore is like war with Iraq, even when you win you lose.” We have Officer Rivieri to back us up, and he’s not taking any of your crap.
