Oh, my, what a load of crap. This isn’t an apology, it is a PR maneuver, and not very good at that. E-mail? For an offense this grave? Burns should have met with her privately for a face to face if she wanted to be taken sincerely.

CantonTown is right: if the State’s Attorney had any leadership skills, Burns would be out. Alas, that seems unlikely.

Burns should be in the unemployment line. It is obvious that her and her boss have no idea how to run a States Attorney Office and are too busy making plea bargains and excuses for criminals.
