G4, Baltimore and Orioles: Was ‘Attack of the Show’ right?

Think carefully before hitting play.
I enter this into evidence, not to torment you, but to raise the question: Could G4’s Attack of the Show have been right? Was the war they declared a just one? Is it time to eat our (my?) words? Because this is really troubling. It reflects on B-Rob and the Orioles, and the cheap-keyboard artistry makes the originally offending Orioles Magic 2008 film look like Spike Jonze. And yet, it supposedly has four-and-a-half stars! The one thing I will say in our defense is that it’s not clear to me whether creator Julia Tucker is, in fact, a Baltimorean. She mentions her beloved Atlanta Braves. But she has video related to Busch Gardens and a clip of her singing the national anthem before a Delaware Blue Rocks game.

  1. OMFG. I made it to 1:07. We should declare war on her.

  2. I sit right next to Anne. My ears were in some serious pain today while we watched it. I'll talk fingernails on the chalkboard any day!!

  3. take... not talk. it's late.

  4. I am the one who wrote this song, and I am Baltimore born and raised. I travel a lot (which explains the Delaware National Anthem and Busch Gardens videos), and I love baseball (espescially the Braves and the Orioles. This song will be featured on the "People Are Talking" segment on WJZ-13 at the end of the month, and Ron Matz will be interviewing me about it, and Don and Marty are going to ask me questions as well. I am so excited about this!
