State prosecutors search Dixon’s home

In a developing story, investigators from the state prosecutor’s office are currently inside Mayor Sheila Dixon’s home executing a search warrant. Dixon left her home earlier this morning without any comment, but with investigators and a state trooper still inside.

The state prosecutor’s office has been investigating City Hall’s “spending irregularities” for the past few years. Whether or not that’s related to today’s investigation is yet unknown. I’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available, but in the meantime, feel free to speculate here.

  1. Culture of Corruption Anyone?

  2. Well after more than seven hours inside, the investigators left with "several boxes, folders, and a blue cooler", according to the Sun's updated article. Let's see if anything comes of it...

  3. Wonder what sort of yummies were in the cooler....

  4. pardon ed norris

  5. She's pretty much teflon in this town - she's got so much dirt on everyone else...she could have a crack factory made out of poached ivory in her basement and still never see the inside of a police station. How else could someone so moronic and grossly corrupt hold office?

Still I hope it something big...It'd be nice to see her dragged up the steps of central booking.

It might be fun to speculate about what's in the cooler though. I think it's her soul. But that's just me...what do I know?

    That's simple - It's Maryland!
The local newspaper is in the tank for these crooks. The local television media is in the tank for these crooks. With friends like these, who is going to tell the people...why bother. Again, it's Maryland.

  7. It's also precious how the Sun article still manages to blame Ehrlich somehow.

  8. According to the Sun, everything that has ever happened wrong anywhere in the world is somehow Erlich's fault.
