Starting July 11th, all you techies out there will be able get the new eight gigabyte iphone for $199 and the 16 gig model for $299.
The iphone has been retooled and upgraded since its debut last year and now includes a faster internet connection and GPS. More importantly, it’s being sold for $200 less than it is currently.
According to The Baltimore Sun, AT&T who is the carrier for the iphone will be starting with a $39.99 a month plan and $30 more for unlimited data. To read more, visit baltimoresun.com
Apple says that the new 3G iphone downloads data twice as fast as the old model. Sounds promising.

Surprisingly, I have to agree with iphone killer. The BB is better, and this is coming from someone who eschewed smartphones for the longest time.
I should note that the "3G" in iPhone 3G does not stand for "three gig" as you state. 3G is the vernacular term for Third Generation wireless technology. Briefly, 3G means faster data speeds on wireless network, making things like web browsing a whole lot easier.
