It’s the 25th anniversary of the O’s world championship team. Who is your favorite player from that team?

I was at the game last night and saw the '83 team. Eddie got a huge ovation and Cal got a 60 second standing ovation.
I was a Tiger fan during the 80's. O's won in 83 and Tigers in 84. But it was Eddie Murray who made life for my Tigers so rough. He was the one that gave me so much concern as an opponent.

I, for some reason, have always had a soft spot for catchers, so Rick Dempsey would have to be my favorite.
He wasn't a bad batter either!

He wasn't a player on the field, but he made it happen - Earl Weaver, the Earl of Baltimore.

Actually he not the Manager either. He retired for the first time after 1982. Joe Altobelli was the manager.

Better yet, who had the best mustache on the team? My personal favorite was Dennis Martinez. Nice 'stache, good longevity. Didn't contribute much other than that.
