I went to New York this past weekend too.

I went to visit this school and I was in Times Square. Messed up that model jumped from the building though.

I was closer to home, with the unfettered joy of a lovely morning at the park with my wee lass, watching the geese and counting dogs (one of her favorite park activities). Plus I had the luxury of getting to watch the entire Euro 2008 Final alone and uninterrupted. Ahhh, bliss. I’ll get my day trip to NYC someday, maybe when she is older.

Marissa - the mystery that is you gets more intriguing. You fancy Gothic church architecture? Most interesting. When it comes to church architecture I have always been more partial to Romanesque or Modern. That said, I do really enjoy the Gothic interiors with stained glass. On sunny days, standing in the light almost makes me believe in God. Which is, perhaps, the point.

Does this mean you are a goth chick? What other architecture grabs your attention?

I guess going to NY this weekend was the in thing to do. Although the parade was interesting, it did mess up our 5th Ave shopping. The rain didn’t help, either. Which bus did you take? I’ll take either Hunt Valley Motor Tours or Apex Bus (Chinatown). Suggestions for next time, anyone?
