Moby gets the dance tent bumping

If you haven’t noticed by my blog posts these past couple days, people piss me off. Especially douchebags. Well during the long wait before Lil’ Weezy finally arrived on stage — any guesses as to what held him up?

It was a perfect storm for douchebaggery as a crowd more suited for an Abercrombie ad waited for Weezy.

Not that I didn’t fit in with my cargo shorts and Birkenstocks, but my hair didn’t have sick flow as I chilled my bros, if you know what I’m saying.

Anyways, my favorite part of watching these shirtless dudes interact with one another was when one shirtless, tattooed douchebag jumped on the shoulders of another shirtless, tattooed douchebag and started screaming at the top of his lungs and gesturing towards the crowd.

Are you kidding me? Do you not realize that tens of thousands of people are watching you climb on top of your sweaty buddy and make an ass out of yourself? See, this is the reason why I think you need to be at least 35 years old to vote. All right, I feel better now that I’ve vented. I’m off to catch Moby spinning in the dance tent.

  1. I forgot to add that I made no attempt to see Bob Dylan this evening because I had absolutely no interest in seeing him. I know that may sound like heresy and I'm sure the music snobs out there are all furiously typing a response right now, but I never got into his music. He's beyond my time. I'm sorry. If you want to hear about his performance, check out the Sun's blog then. At least give me credit for not being one of those people who pretend they like classic musicians like Bob Dylan or the Beatles like that just because it's the hip thing to do.

  2. You didn't miss much. I couldn't understand a word he was saying...

  3. Good thing pretty much EVERY musician on the planet (you know, the people he influenced) was/is able to comprehend him. I think it's fine to skip it if you aren't into him...but don't dismiss a legend with such pedestrian assessments.

And yes Matt you do get credit for keeping it real.

    !

  4. Bob's voice gets under my skin, but his song writing and lyrics are amazing. I didn't try to see him either.
