What’s worse: college exams and papers or a full-time job?

I have to say a full-time job. College exams and papers last only four years. Since we are talking college, when you get out and get that full-time job every day is an exam or paper. Sometimes they get stacked on top of each other and you wonder if you will ever catch up. I have eight years left until I graduate with 30 years from my current job. I can hardly wait!

College papers and exams are definitely worse than having a full time job. Even though these papers and tests are temporary, the mental and financial stress they would have put you through would be enough to surpass anything a full time job could do. A full time job is just learning the surroundings and adapting because it is something that will help you meet your needs.

whatever's in the moment.
In the larger scope, full-time job, for sure. If you get a bad grade on a paper, you can make up for it... if you do something bad on the job, you may not have a job tomorrow... and in this economy, do you really want to be jobless?

I imagine that, in the coming months, there are going to be a lot more people who receive and "F" for being employed.

Hmm.. the answer really depends on which one you take more seriously. There are workers, and then there are workers. Similarly, there are students - and then, there are students. Over the years I have seen legions of slackers in both fields and it boils down to personal integrity.
Hate to invoke existentialism as an answer - but - wherever you are, stand up right now and point a finger at the nearest slacker. Even if that person is you.

hey, I resemble that remark!
I'm notorious for slacking... yet I'm also a damn hard worker. Strange, eh? In school, I slacked like crazy. But when it was time to get down to brass tacks, I'd get the work done and get the grades. Then there was the time I never did a report that accounted for 40% of my grade and I got an A in that class. :-)
Now I live by the motto "Any job worth doing is a job worth doing well." And, realistically, ANY job is worth doing. Some people may feel a job is beneath them, but you never know where it may lead if it get the attention of the right people.

Exams are worse.
Being an adult is boring as hell.

I have some papers for you to write Jordan, word. Anyway, at least you get paid to work, school sucks, especially being an adult student. Being able to act out on campus and using the meal card is cool, but that's not the real world.
Even worse though is not having either one.
