  1. President McCain's victory party the night of 04 November 2008...............

At the Battle of Badajoz, Spain (16 March - 6 April 1812) with Craufurd's Light Division (the men of the Forlorn Hope).

  2. I'd like to go back in time to when the person typing this question proofread it and left the 't' off of 'event.' :-P

I'd like to have been a part of the moon landing. Space nut. Yeah.

  3. only1, saw your response to the question on the moon landing. I have an Apollo 11 Commemorative Sword. Issued by Wilkinson Sword of London commemorating the landing on the moon. Said to be worth about 500 dollars. Would you be interested in seeing it? Take care, liked your answer - Joe (oldguy49)

  4. Could you please clarify the connection between a British stabbing implement and an aeronautical program that (allegedly) took us to the moon, please?

  5. He totally wants to show you his sword. That's hot.

    !

  6. Ahhahahahaha.

  7. 2-parter:
Post-WWII era. It was a watershed time for the advertising industry. That and I'm a fan of fedoras and whitewall tires.

    or

Post-WWI era. Mencken was at his best. The beer was flowing underground in smoky speakeasies. And Baltimore was a booming town.

  8. And don't forget, it didn't count as an assault if it was with your wife. Yes, lets go back to that time period.

  9. Every era has its blemishes. I suppose the alternative is choosing not to exist at all. You're welcome to give that a go.

  10. So, your choice is to ignore reality and invent your own imaginary past consisting of only the good things? But of course, fedora hats, smoky speakeasies rock. Two of those things, like totally describe the past, dude! Think I'll add to your landscape a bit:

Water fountain for whites goes here.

(Water fountain for all others goes down here along with eugenics, phrenology, forced sterilization of the poor.)

  11. Yawn.

Let me know when you're done with the hall so we can turn out the lights.

  12. tehhunter... who pissed in your cheerios this morning???

Tell you what, why don't YOU post YOUR answer to the question so we can decontruct it and tell you how you couldn't make any more of an idiot move. Until then, shut the hell up and let us participate.

  13. as for the moon landing.. .yeah... I love how people don't believe. Tell you what, buck-o... I can understand how people think it may have been totally made up but (high powered) telescopes have been pointed at the moon and show the impressions of the lunar vehicles and modules. You want any more proof than that, man?

  14. BURN!

  15. FWIW, I don't think forced sterilization is such a bad thing.

    !

  16. I would like to have been there the day Martin Luther King gave his "I Have A Dream" speech.

  17. I would love to clarify it for you. Most likely you were never in the military. The British stabbing implement (sword) is handed out to members of the military as a gift after having performed a heroic deed or accomplishing some great deed, ie landing on the moon. The three crew members that were on the apollo 11 mission were all military (members of the United States Navy - the guys with boats that keep us safe). We did land on the moon by the way. Were you alive when it happened? If you need some more information on the United States Military I would be more than happy to suggest some reading material.

    ycktr, funny comment, good one!

  18. Thanks for having a good sense of humor about it...that's what I like about you.

    !

  19. I'm going to say the Boston Tea Party. I love tea and I love parties, duh.

  20. Being a relatively young Black man, I would've liked to be a teenager in the middle of the birth of hip-hop in NYC during the mid 80s. Other than that, nothing is beating right now given what is supposed to happen next week. Honestly, my generation is the ****.

  21. why'd they star out best!?
