I would be forever grateful this Thanksgiving if news anchors would stop prefacing every story about the economy with “In these tough economic times….”   Why must they tell us the obvious? 

I’d also be eternally grateful and thankful if Barack Obama removed the “Office of the President-Elect” sign from the front of his podium.  I know who he is.
