If you’re like me, you’re counting down the time until “Lost” comes back (p.s. — it’s 7 weeks).
“Heroes” just isn’t cutting it and, face it, there’s going to be nothing on between now and mid-January.
So, to satiate your craving for Jack, Kate, the disappearing island, and everything else “Lost”, here’s a fun story chicagotribune.com did about the show’s plot being re-told through Facebook updates:
This is one of my favorite “Lost” stories in a while (I first saw this story via the Facebook page of “Lost” blogger JOpinionated).
Ryan McGee, a writer for Zap2it.com, has reimagined the ABC drama as a series of Facebook updates.
Here are just a few of McGee’s imagined “Lost”/Facebook updates:
Charlie Pace regrets adding “Ethan Rom” as a friend.
27 people have added “Daddy Issues” as an Interest.
John Locke became a fan of “Pushing the Button.”
Mr. Eko is updating his Jesus stick.Nikki Fernandez and Paulo have changed their relationship status to “buried alive.”
Danielle Rousseau has removed “backstory” from her profile.
John Locke took the “Richard Alpert Island Savior Quiz” and scored 66%!
John Locke wonders if there’s a “Moving the Island” application.
Here’s a few I thought up (though they’re not as funny as what’s above):
Claire has changed her status to “possibly maybe dead, or not.
“Hugo Reyes is wondering if there’s a good VW mechanic on the island.
Sawyer has been working on the Nickname Generator application.
Michael wonders why he tried to get back to the island at all since, you know, he just went BOOM and that was that.
Christian threw Dad Guilt at Jack.Daniel Faraday has joined the group “Skinny Ties Are Cool.”
John Locke and Jeremy Bentham are now friends. {CHICAGO TRIBUNE}
Here are some of my favorites readers posted, but you can click the link above and check out all of them:
Desmond and Penny have changed their relationship to “Constant.”
Hugo Reyes doesn’t like these padded walls.
Sayid Jarrah joined the group Ben’s Henchmen.
Jack has changed his profile picture. [insert bearded pic here]
20 people have joined the group “Destiny is a Fickle [expletive]”
Charlie Pace is now a member of the DriveShaft fanclub.
