please explain how in the world did they come up with the statement that the pittsburg steerler's player made a touch down when his feet were in the touch down area and the ball was on the one yard line?

I hate to say it.... I REALLY hate to say it... but it was a TD. Think of it like when a TD is scored in the back of the end zone: both feet touch, player has control of the ball. I saw it when it happened, before the replays, and knew it was a TD. It sucks all the same, but it was a TD. If anything from the game, how about in that last drive why pass interference wasn't called on Pittsburgh on one of the long passing plays when they just jacked the reciever... not cool.

that wasn't a touchdown. catches in the back of the end zone cross the plane. it's moot now but there's no way they had irrefutable evidence to overturn the call on the field.

I'll agree that, with the replays available, it was too close to be irrefutable and the the call on the field should have stood.

It's about where the ball is when the receiver gains control. Feet have nothing to do with it at the goal line! On the other hand feet have every thing to do with it on the back/side of the end zone.

Dear Santa,
I would like a honest politician for Christmas. Since that is impossible, a new fishing rod and reel would be nice. Also, seats on the 50 yard line in Tampa Bay to watch the Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Giants (again) in the Superbowl.
