b reader Tiffany Underwood, 24, wanted Barack Obama to run for president since she heard his keynote address at the 2004 DNC. She volunteered for him by phone banking during the campaign, but her mom volunteered in swing state Florida, which earned her tickets to the Eastern Ball at Union Station, which she gave Tiffany and Tiffany’s boyfriend. She’ll be blogging for us throughout the day. Check back often for entries.
7:49 a.m.: I woke up this morning at 5 am without the aid of an alarm, alert and way more excited for today than I
thought I was going to be. Despite all of the extra time I had to get ready and pack, I still managed to leave my Inaugural ball and Metro tickets at home. Unfortunately I didn’t realize this until standing in line at Starbucks. I’m now
headed back home to grab those so I don’t head down to DC without them.

Hey Tiff! Recollect you from Towson back in your Richmond Hall days. Congrats on covering the Inauguration! Have fun today and be safe!
