From today’s b, the paper
You couldn’t miss the wedding band on Craig Ferguson’s ring finger when he returned to CBS’ “The Late Late Show” from his holiday break.
Ferguson held his left hand up to the camera and announced that he’d gotten married. The talk-show host said he’d tied the knot with art dealer Megan Wallace Cunningham.
He suggested that he and Megan be referred to as “Cragan,” like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are known as “Brangelina.”
This is Ferguson’s third marriage. He has a 7-year-old son, Milo, from his second marriage.
About to follow in Ferguson’s footsteps is Alyssa Milano, who got engaged to Creative Artists Agency agent David Bugliari on Dec. 18, her rep told usmagazine.com.
The couple have been dating for more than a year.
“I’ve gotten such s— about my dating choices,” Milano told Details in 2007 about her multiple romances with Major League Baseball pitchers. “Like, every single article … is about how I’m ‘the chick that dates athletes…”
She went on to say, “I’d love to just find a good plumber or doctor.”
Just remember to apply for a marriage license, Alyssa. You wouldn’t want to be in Speidi’s situation.
In Touch Weekly reports Spencer Pratt “didn’t even know you have to legalize a wedding.” Pratt, who married Heidi Montag in a nonbinding ceremony in November, said, “I thought growing up, you say ‘I do’ and you’re married.”
It must be a match made in heaven because Montag agreed with her fake husband.
“We had our elopement, and to me, that counts,” she said, adding that they are now planning to make it official. {AP and MARISSA RICHARDSON, B}
Swayze says he’s ‘going through hell’
Patrick Swayze says his yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer put him “through hell” while he pushed ahead on his new TV series.
“I’ve never been one to run from a challenge,” Swayze told ABC’s Barbara Walters in an exclusive interview.
“Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m (asking), ‘Why me?’” Swayze said.
Although most patients with advanced-stage pancreatic cancer face grim prospects, Swayze isn’t buying into it: “Watch me! You watch what I pull off!”
“Barbara Walters Special‚ Patrick Swayze: The Truth,” airs tonight. {AP}

Through Jan. 22, fans can upload clips of them singing to Perry’s Grammy-nominated song onto the CBS Web site. The fans will be able to vote on the top-20 videos through Feb. 6. {LOS ANGELES TIMES}
Winehouse drops drug appeal
Amy Winehouse dropped her appeal in a Norwegian drug case and will accept a fine for illegal marijuana possession in 2007, her attorney said.
Winehouse and husband Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested during a concert stop in October 2007 on charges of possessing 1/4-ounce of marijuana.
They were held overnight and released after paying fines of $428.
Winehouse later appealed the fine, claiming Norwegian police made mistakes in the case.
“After a careful review of the whole matter, they decided to drop the appeal,” attorney Ole Kvelstad said by telephone.
Kvelstad earlier said the payment of the fine amounted to a guilty plea, which he said could have serious consequences if Winehouse sought to enter the U.S. Winehouse was denied a U.S. visa last year when she wanted to perform at the Grammy Awards ceremony. {AP}
