Chances are, if you were born at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in 2008, your name is William, Abigail or Olivia.
GMBC has just released its top names of the 4,310 babies born at the hospital last year. “William” was the top moniker bestowed on 32 boys (just edging out “Ryan” with 31), while “Abigail” and “Olivia,” with 25 each, were the top girls’ names.
Barack Obama proved inspiration for a few couples, including one from Harford County, who named their daughter, born right after the election results, Sasha Malia, after Obama’s daughters. All in all, though, popular GMBC baby names tended to be traditional for boys, not-so-much for girls (London?!)

I like Grace, too, but I don't get the popularity of Abigail and Olivia, and Madison is starting to get on my nerves.

My great-grandmother's name was Grace Ethel. She preferred to be called by her middle name Ethel. Go figure
