Baltimore Harbor, April 12
2008 was a year with new beginnings. Taking on this new job and helping launch this new free daily publication has been a fun and challenging task. Whether it’s here at b or my previous job at The Aegis in Harford County, documenting the community we live in has always been the best part of my job. I’d like to share some of my favorites photos and moments from the past year. Here’s to 2009, may it be even more rewarding than last year, for all of us.

Brian Krista why is there not one bikini photo on this list? I like the one photo of the girl dancing in the club with the sunglasses on. It seems like that has become a fan favorite here on the B site! Are you a photographer Brian? If you are i recomend you go to Ocean City and take some real photos! If you want to be the best than you have to be willing to travel places further than downtown! Go to O.C. in June...i guarantee you get ratings...and as we know..ratings equal cash!$$$$

Yes, I'm the staff photographer for b. I'm glad you like some of my photos. We have freelancers we use on occasion as well. I'd enjoy it if we do a story in the coming year that takes me to Ocean City, but for the most part our staff generated stories are focused in and around Baltimore.

Honestly there all good photos on here...i think the girl standing on the paper stands with the Obama sign could have been in a major magazine! I think the skateboarder photo is neat because the guy was wearing a Orioles shirt...the Oriole shirt is more gutsy then the stunt especially from a out of towner!

Actually, Bucky Lasek is a Baltimore guy, which is what made it even greater. The local winning the biggest competition of the whole event. Thank you very much for your kind words in regards to my photo work.
