10 spot: Squidfire Holiday Art Mart, Ravens take on the NFC North and more

Time to Squidfire it up {thanks, Squidfire}
Time to Squidfire it up {thanks, Squidfire}

1. Squidfire’s Holiday Art Mart
Looking for unique holiday gift ideas? There will be plenty of DIY art and clothing options from more than 60 vendors at Squidfire’s Art Mart. There’s also no dealing with the weather, became the event is at Du Burns Arena in Canton. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. Free. BRIAN KRISTA, B

2. Unsilent Night
For a (fairly) new holiday celebration that doesn’t reek of commercialism, join this parade of boomboxes (CD, cassette, MP3 all OK) blasting parts of Phil Kline’s “Unsilent Night.” No boombox? That’s OK, too. 6:45 p.m. Saturday at Penn Station; afterparty at Metro Gallery. Free. mobtownmodern.com ANNE TALLENT, B

3. Gucci Mane, The State vs. Radric Davis
Burr! Burr! Gucci’s second proper LP has been at the top of many rap fans’ wish lists for years (including mine). Although the release is bittersweet (the Atlanta rapper was sent to prison last month for violating probation), we’ll be bumping the hell out of this album until Gucci is free. Probably after that, too. Out Tuesday, DecemBURR 8. WESLEY CASE, B

4. Ryan Leslie live
I don’t know why, but Ryan Leslie (right) hasn’t gotten much attention. He has musical talent for days. And even his voice has swagger. (Yes, swagger.) My favorite song? “You’re Not My Girl.” See him at Rams Head on Stage, Annapolis. 8 p.m. Monday. $30. AUBREY FORNWALT, B

5. Ravens take on the NFC North
The Ravens begin a three-game stretch against the NFC North when they try to shut down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on “Monday Night Football” (8:30 p.m., ESPN). That will be tough. Beating the Lions on Sunday (1 p.m., WJZ-23 CBS)? Piece of cake. MATT VENSEL, B

6. Mink Stole’s Christmas: Unwrapped & Unplugged
A staple of John Waters’ films, Stole will tell tales of her childhood, dish on Waters and sing a little cabaret with her band. 8 p.m. Saturday. Creative Alliance at The Patterson, 3134 Eastern Ave., Highlandtown. $15, $13 members. creativealliance.org. ANNE TALLENT, B

7. ‘The Princess and the Frog’
Nothing will ever top “The Little Mermaid” or “Aladdin” in my book. Sorry, Disney. All preferences aside, I’m interested in seeing how well (or poorly) this groundbreaking, new animated venture is received. In theaters Friday. TIM WONG, B

8. GoodShop.com
The holiday season always makes me feel extra give-y. And goodshop.com makes it easy to spread goodwill. Just pick a charity or school of your choice, shop at more than 1,400 stores (including Amazon and Banana Republic) and up to 30 percent of your purchase goes to your favorite cause. JORDAN BARTEL, B

9. ‘Don’t Trust Me,’ 3OH!3
The “do the Helen Keller” line is a little offensive, but the dance-poppy goodness has me hooked. If their other songs are just as good (and don’t reference disabled people throughout history) then I’m sold. MARISSA GALLO, B

10. ‘The Santaland Diaries’
The stage adaptation of David Sedaris’ work features plenty of temper tantrums during Crumpet’s journey
during the holidays as a Macy’s Christmas elf. I’m up for any performance that will make me laugh. Center Stage, 700 N. Calvert St., Mount Vernon. Tuesday through Dec. 20. $25-$35. centerstage.org ALISIA KRASTEL, B
