Sports fans love to talk about sports — especially here in Baltimore — so we’d like to give our readers with sports-savvy an opportunity to rant and rave about what’s going on in the world of sports, both locally and nationally. Each weekday, we’ll pose a new question for you to discuss at the water cooler. Here’s your chance to be an armchair quarterback. Now speak up, play nice and let us know what you think.
Today’s topic at the water cooler:
How have the Orioles done so far this offseason?

You guys should be happy with the atkins signing, he will be good for you, however, it doesnt fix the fact that you have no proven ace, and there really isnt an #3 4 or 5 starter behind Millwood and Guthrie, They need to go out and land Pineiro or Sheets, otherwise they will NOT be competitive in this division at ALL.. EVERY team in the Al East has improved this year. The Sox have the best rotation in Baseball, the Yankees added Granderson and now possibly fat jesus to soften the loses of Damon and Matsui, The Blue jays got the BEST part of the Halladay blockbuster, so it looks like the only team that has improved LESS than the orioles are the rays..

and dont forget about the Adrian Gonzalez rumors.. if he lands in Boston, and the team stays healthy, LIGHTS OUT.

The Division ranking as I see them
#1 NY Yankees
#2 Baltimore Orioles
#3 Tampa Bay Devil Rays
#4 Boston Red Sox
#5 Toronto Blue Jays
Lol...sawxfaninmd...I bet this ranking got you thinking lol. No, I think the Red Sox will compete with the Yankees for the division. I think the Orioles have a 1/100 chance NOT to finish in last place!
