As 2010 began, some people resolved to spend more time getting in tune with their spirituality. For those going to church or church-related events, it’s not only about worshiping as they see fit, but also about fellowship and spending time with others of the same faith.  In order to do that, one needs to know where to go and have a reason to show up.

The Baltimore metro area is home to a large faith-based community which includes lots of historic churches. For church goers seeking to stay in the know about services, concerts or other events, they often depend on the limited information they’ve heard bandied about by others.

Now, there’s a new way to stay in the know — morningchurchannouncements.com.

The site was started by Baltimore native Kaisha Askins. Askins wanted a one-stop shop where announcements about online church and Christian events can be posted. Not only does the site include events in and around Baltimore, but it also highlights events in Washington, Delaware, and Philadelphia.

The Morning Church Announcements also has a Twitter.

  1. Will they be discussing Frank Reid's 500k/year salary and the AME church's long history of covering up child sexual abuse?
