Anne Tallent, an Eldersburg native, skipped around the country for 10 years before the homing signal lured her back to live in Baltimore. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, she was a copy editor at The Daily Oklahoman, an assistant features editor at the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y., and, most recently, arts and entertainment editor at The Sun before becoming editor of b. She likes taking refuge at the Charles, catching up over a pint of Resurrection, browsing Atomic Books, reading under the William Wallace statue in Druid Hill Park and swimming at the 33rd Street Y.
