How incredible was Virgin Mobile Festival? So much so that we’re STILL taking it in the day after.
The WTMD crew’s field trip to Pimlico Race Course included a little bit of work - our Morning Show host Erik and producer Andrew checked out backstage to bring out artist interviews. I am speechless. Kanye West just finished up his set at Virgin Fest a few minutes ago. I hate to speak in hyperbole, but that was probably the greatest musical performance I’ve ever witnessed firsthand. Lil’ Wayne won’t be getting a Christmas card from the Black Keys this year. As I mentioned early, Lil’ Wayne was 40 minutes late for his performance today and the Black Keys were the ones who suffered.

If you haven’t noticed by my blog posts these past couple days, people piss me off. Especially douchebags. Well during the long wait before Lil’ Weezy finally arrived on stage — any guesses as to what held him up? — it was a perfect storm for douchebaggery as a crowd more suited for an Abercrombie ad waited for Weezy. Not that I didn’t fit in with my cargo shorts and Birkenstocks, but my hair didn’t have sick flow as I chilled my bros, if you know what I’m saying.
