Santa will be at Harborplace Amphitheater from 6-9 tonight to take pictures with your four-legged family members.
Holiday costumes will be available for your cats and dogs to wear during the photo shoot. Proceeds benefit Baltimore Animal and Rescue Care Shelter. Visitors who make a donation to BARCS will be entered to win a $100 Harborplace and The Gallery gift card.

Humane for the holidays: Embrace the holiday spirit for Baltimore pets

The Humane Society of Baltimore County in Reisterstown has had a large increase of animals being taken to the shelter as a result of housing and financial problems.
According to a Human Society press release, this increase in animals at the shelter is paired with fewer contributions and more supplies needed to care for the additional animals.
The Humane Society of Baltimore County, which is dedicated to providing care and shelter to all the animals dropped off, needs strong community support, especially during the holidays, in order to care for all animals that come in, according to the release.
In addition to monetary donations, supplies like paper towels, bleach, blankets, cat litter, dog and cat toys and Timothy hay for rabbits are needed.
