Starting July 11th, all you techies out there will be able get the new eight gigabyte iphone for $199 and the 16 gig model for $299.

The iphone has been retooled and upgraded since its debut last year and now includes a faster internet connection and GPS. More importantly, it’s being sold for $200 less than it is currently.

According to The Baltimore Sun, AT&T who is the carrier for the iphone will be starting with a $39.99 a month plan and $30 more for unlimited data. To read more, visit baltimoresun.com

Apple says that the new 3G iphone downloads data twice as fast as the old model. Sounds promising.

Fanboy Feasting No. 3

So I’m watching Battlestar Galactica on Friday, as I do many Friday. Trying to watch, listen and enjoy one of my favorite shows. Suddenly my roommate interjects “Oh my God, I hate how they use that word [frak]. It’s sounds so stupid. Why don’t they just write the script around the word?!”

Fanboy Feasting No. 2

For those of you thirsting for an MMORPG (massively mutliplayer online role-playing game) that’s distinctly different from the traditionally fantastical worlds of Everquest, Age of Conan and the World of Warcraft, I definitely recommend trying out Requiem: Bloodymare.

We all suspected it, but now it is confirmed: someone very, very close to the 3G iPhone launch has told me [Gizmodo’s Jesus Diaz] that Apple will announce their new model at the WWDC Keynote on June 9th. The second-generation iPhone will be available worldwide right after the launch, and not at year’s end, as previously thought. The new model will also herald new sales policies in some countries.

Wired’s blog network posted that over 40 countries have iPhone deals, and in some of these markets there will be multiple carriers that supporting this hardware. With the original iPhone sold out on the Apple Store we were bound to hear news like this sooner or later.

Butt Station
Butt Station

If you’re searching for easy, innovative ways to keep your desk clean try looking to the toilet. It’s the “Butt Station Desktop Accessory.” A neon green person sits on a toilet, while holding your pen or pencil in its mouth. The toilet paper dispenser is actually a spot to put your clear tape. As for the toilet: it’s a spot to hold your extra pens. Available for $19.95, this is one idea you shouldn’t flush down the toilet.

Wrath of the Lich King 10 Minutes Trailer from Boubouille on Vimeo.

Unofficial World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) Trailer

This trailer contains some of the videos released yesterday by some of the various WoW fan sites. Think of this as a big tease for WotLK. If you can, I strongly recommend that you activate the HD Mode at the top right of the video screen!

Thanks MMO-Champion!
